Great job. I loved the fact that you had actual correct Japanese in it. I'm a japanese major and it annoys the hell out of me when people use japanese incorrectly or just sprinkle it in when it's cool. The actual acting part could use a little work (I'm also a theater student), but the animation was bloody brilliant.

I'm not a fan of the scribble style. I've seen it done well, but this didn't quite pull it off. I loved teh style - though - the 1940's detective story feel.

sometimes the words were insanely weird... especially in the colors section... not too bad.. though the face was frightening.

Not bad, but matches are made WAY too easily. I sat back and got through the first round on ONE match that I made because of all the subsequent pairs.... Not bad, but please spell Buddha correctly... it's offensive otherwise.
